02What ends up on the page

Each profile opens with your consultant’s note and a short candidate profile, then experience, qualifications and strengths. Referees are there when you want them and hidden when you don’t. Add your own sections, such as licences and tickets, work rights or availability and notice, and put page breaks exactly where you want them.

Choose from five looks: Editorial, Compact, Classic, Introduction and Letterhead. What you see in the preview is exactly what the PDF prints.

03Blind profiles in one click

Sending a shortlist before you introduce anyone? Switch the profile to blind and the name becomes initials, a first name and initial, or a candidate code. Before you download, Koho warns you about anything that could still identify the candidate: a name, email, phone number, LinkedIn link or employer left in the text.

04How the reading works

Koho pulls the text out of the CV in your browser, then Anthropic’s Claude turns it into a structured profile. It is told never to invent contact details, dates or employers, and it marks each field as confident, worth a check, or missing, so you know where to look. If you’d rather not use AI at all, an admin can switch it off and your team fills the profile in by hand.

By default the CV file itself is read and discarded: only the text is used. Your admin can choose to keep files for a set time instead.

Which file types can Koho convert?

PDF, Word (.docx) and plain text files up to 25 MB. Older .doc files need saving as .docx or PDF first, and scanned PDFs that are only an image can’t be read.

Can I edit the CV after it’s converted?

Yes. Every section can be edited, reordered, shown or hidden, and you can add your own sections and page breaks before you download the PDF.

Does Koho remove the candidate’s contact details?

Yes. Contact details are never printed on the profile, which tells the client to contact your agency instead. Blind profiles go further and replace the candidate’s name too.

Is AI used, and where does the CV go?

The CV text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude to be structured, which may process it outside Australia and does not use it to train models. Your agency’s records stay in Sydney. An admin can turn AI off and fill profiles in by hand.

What format do I send to clients?

A PDF in your agency’s template, named after the candidate, their role and your agency.
