02What you see for each industry
At a glance: pay growth compared with all industries, job ads year on year, vacancies, unemployment nationally and by state, and the cash rate. Below that, pay, demand (job ads and the occupations moving most) and skills shortages by state, plus a short “worth knowing” summary and the dates coming up that will move the market, such as RBA decisions and the annual wage review.
03Where the numbers come from
From the Australian Bureau of Statistics (Wage Price Index, Average Weekly Earnings, Job Vacancies, Labour Account and Labour Force), Jobs and Skills Australia (the Internet Vacancy Index and the Occupation Shortage List), the Reserve Bank (the cash rate) and the Fair Work Commission (the minimum wage). Each figure shows its source and period.
The summary sentences are written by code from the figures, not by an AI model, so nothing is estimated or made up.

The ABS, Jobs and Skills Australia, the Reserve Bank and the Fair Work Commission. Every figure shows its source and period.
Is any of it generated by AI?
No. No model writes, estimates or restates a figure, and the summary sentences are built by code from the published numbers.
Which industries are covered?
Twenty-one industries. Your admin chooses the ones your agency recruits into.
Does it include salaries by role?
Not from official data, which doesn’t publish them at that level.
How often is it updated?
Koho checks for new figures every day, and each figure is dated to the period it covers.
